Personal Shopper DVDs
 How would you like to preview homes by DVDs mailed directly to your home? YOU CAN! If you have used Netflix or Blockbuster.com, you know how convenient it is to order up a DVD and watch it in the comfort of your home. This is the same idea, except that you don't have to return the DVDs!

Here's how it works:
1. You must live at least 90 miles away. Creating personal shopper DVD home tours takes approximately six to eight hours per home tour. If you live only an hour's drive away, it's still a lot more practical for us to preview the home, let you know what we think, and then have you to come to the house. However, if you're distant and it isn't practical for you to make the trip, then the DVD home tours are the way to go!

2. We'll send you listings from the MLS, along with our recommendations. You take a look, identify the ones you think are of interest, and we schedule a preview for the filming. Note: Some agents won't allow videotaping of their listings. We always explain that the video is for an out-of-town client, but if the request is denied, we can't film the home.

3. We film the home, do the post-production, and post the video to a private location on the Internet established just for your home tours. We send you the link to the video and then you can watch the guided home tour (similar to the tours you will find at our DVD sample page.

4. If you like what you see, you let us know and we will complete the DVD manufacturing process and mail you the DVD. If you want more than one mailed out (e.g., to a spouse or family member at another location), just let us know, and we will send them out.

 Frequently Asked Questions
Is this service really free or do I have to pay something for it?
Yes, it is completely free for Registered-Plus users. However, we don't provide the service to anyone else, even if the person offers to pay us a fee.

Are there any other restrictions (price, etc.)?
No, we will do this for just about any home category (home, condo, land, units, etc.), regardless of the price. We'll even do it on a for sale by owner home, as long as the owner is willing to cooperate with agents and pay a commission in the event that you buy the home.

I am not relocating for another nine months, but I'd like to start shopping now.
We would prefer to send you DVDs of our past listings first so that you can begin to get a feel for the homes in the area. Then, as your arrival and home shopping date nears, we can begin sending you DVDs.

I am not a Registered user. Will you provide this service to me?
No, the service is available only to Registered-Plus users.

I don't have broadband access to the Internet and cannot watch the videos on-line.
If that's the case, then we will just fabricate DVDs for every tour and mail them to you as they are produced.

Why do you provide this service?
We help people buy and sell homes, and providing this service helps our remote clients find the home that they want. We are compensated from the commission paid by the seller.

Does anyone else provide this service in San Diego?
Not that we are aware of. We acquired our film knowledge early in order to film/produce/manufacture DVDs on a large scale for the listings that we represent. We decided that offering this service to our relocation buying clients would be of tremendous help to them.
